Sweet and Spicy Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Crispy, caramelized and packed with flavor, these Sweet and Spicy Glazed Brussels Sprouts are an easy way to make everyone’s favorite veggie even more delicious. A savory-sweet glaze with just the right amount of heat coats roasted Brussels sprouts for a flavorful side dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners, holidays and everything in between.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered
- 1 ½ tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/3 cup MUSO from Japan Organic Ponzu
- 1 tbsp MUSO from Japan Umami Black Garlic Chili Crisp
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Sesame seeds, to garnish
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Toss the brussels sprouts with the olive oil until completely coated.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes or until tender but not mushy.
- Meanwhile add the ponzu, chili crisp, and honey to a small saucepan over medium low heat, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix the cornstarch with a splash of water to create a slurry, then whisk into the sauce mixture. Reduce the heat to low and stir until thickened. Remove from the heat.
- Once the brussels are done, pour the sauce over the top and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately and garnish with sesame seeds if desired and enjoy!
